Located in the interior of Guyana, Kaieteur National Park spans a rugged and remote landscape characterized by its rich biodiversity and dramatic topography. The park's centerpiece, Kaieteur Falls, plunges 741 feet, making it one of the tallest single-drop waterfalls globally. This remote park is a haven for unique wildlife, including the rare golden frog and the iconic Guiana Cock-of-the-rock. Established in 1929, it is Guyana's oldest national park and covers roughly 242 square miles.
